The current mods are Texmod-based, means it’s editing what comes outta your GPU, so expect some downsides, testing and maybe crashes.
Installation
-Unrar Texmod

-Run the exe
-Select the game exe (Burnout here, not some sort of launcher, the main file)
-Browse and pick a tpf package (or more than one, i guess using too many of those can make stuff buggy, depends of games, those who played Guild Wars with this should know better )
-Play
My Personnal Tests & Observations
-I’m using a HD4870 Crossfire
-Random Crashes from time to time at loading, once your in game it runs 100% fine.
-Crashes seem way less common with Standard AI Option rather than Advanced Mode.
-Run CCleaner before/after each play/mod editing and other stuff, Texmod creates tmp files.
-After further playing and modding, for ATI users, setting AI to Standard really does reduce the amount of crashes, a lot
Anyway, feedback from interested people, Nvidia users etc is obvously welcome

*Note: Obviously, if you do something allowing the textures being “reloaded” by the game, you’d have to load the tpf again, eg: paint jobs.
**Note²: I noticed that some cars have common texture files, eg: the black stripes on some of em, just like this Hawker. So you might see a couple tiny bugs if using and switching cars. Use it when you play the Hawker.
Random Modding
Any GUI or game component can be retex, for those willin to remove the ads, it can be done
I also found a mod allowing to mess with the shaders, i’ll be testing and updating if i get a valuable find.
